• Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty of Bend acquired Park Place Real Estate in the Portland area. Park Place, which has a team of 25 brokers, was formed in 2004 by the husband-and-wife team Steve and Evelyn Rosling. With the addition of Park Place, Cascade Sotheby’s increases market share in the luxury, new construction and land development sectors and enhances local presence west of the Cascades.

• Bethlehem Inn received $10,000 from Soroptimist International of Bend to help pay for the shelter’s playground. SI Bend celebrated its 75th anniversary this fall. It is the longest continuously running women’s service organization in Bend.

• Juniper Springs Senior Living, 590 NW 23rd St., Redmond, will hold a grand opening for the new 96-unit senior living community from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19.

• GL Solutions of Bend was awarded a contract with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services Office of Licensing to provide the agency’s new web-based licensing system. The contract culminates a 19-month formal procurement effort.

• Les Schwab Amphiteheater in Bend is one of four concert venues in the nation to receive an All At Once Sustainability Award for Jack Johnson’s 2017-18 World Tour. Johnson’s All At Once organization promotes climate-conscious charities, and the awards honor music industry organizations that meet or exceed the parameters of Johnson’s tour rider.
