Who: Abstract painter Valerie Winterholler’s works are on display at Peterson-Roth Gallery through February. A Bend native, Winterholler is often influenced by the scenery of the mountains and desert landscapes of Central Oregon in her work. Her technique uses multiple layers of acrylic paint are washed and burnished until they begin to reflect light. Winterholler’s art has been featured in several solo and group shows throughout Central Oregon and is a part of private collections along the West Coast.
