Services: A memorial service will be held on June 26th at 1 pm at the

Christmas Valley SDA Church.

Gene is preceded in death by his wife Loraine Porter. Gene is survived by his mother, sister, three children Lucas Porter, Steven Porter, Lori Brusse and five grandchildren. Gene was a faithful member of the SDA Church, enjoyed traveling, and highly valued the relationships he had with friends and family. He owned and operated the Porter Ranch in Christmas Valley since the late 1980s, carrying on his family’s legacy.
