The Bend Park & Recreation Foundation is hosting an end-of-summer roller skating event at the Pavilion 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 8. 

In addition to live music, Pavilion-Palooza will have lawn games, roller skating and more. Food and drinks, including alcohol, will be available for purchase.

Admission is $5 per person, though children younger than 5 have free entry. Admission includes skate rental, though quantities and sizes are limited. Participants who own their own skates are encouraged to bring them.

The fundraising event will support the park district’s recreation scholarship program to offer community members and families access to park district opportunities. In 2023, more $720,000 was raised to help people participate in the Kids Inc. after-school program, swim lessons, youth sports and recreation facility passes.

Skateboards and scooters, provided wearers have helmets, are allowed, though bicycles are not. Blankets and chairs are welcome in the lawn area.
