Shepherd’s House Ministries, a Central Oregon nonprofit providing homeless services, is asking the community for food donations for its annual Good Friday Easter Dinner.

The dinner will take place ahead of Easter on Friday, April 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the nonprofit’s Redmond Center, 1350 S Hwy 97. The nonprofit said in a Monday press release that donations are “critically needed” by Wednesday. Items include hams, bacon, cheese, coconut cream pie, lemon meringue pie, assorted cream pies, carrot cake, Hawaiian rolls and butter.

“This special meal offers warmth, nourishment, and community to our neighbors experiencing hardship,” Shepherd’s House said in a Friday press release.

Donations may be dropped off seven days a week, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at either the Redmond Center or the nonprofit’s Bend shelter, 1854 NE Division St.
