Ex-Disney VP convicted of abusing girl — A former Disney executive has been convicted in Multnomah County Circuit Court of sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl. Michael Laney, 73, was convicted of four counts of first-degree sexual abuse. Court documents say Laney began abusing the victim in 2009 and there were multiple incidents of abuse spanning about two years. The child initially reported the abuse in 2017 in Washington, where she lived at the time.
