Pine Tavern Restaurant & Bar
Happy hour is a competitive in Central Oregon, but readers decided Pine Tavern Restaurant & Bar is the place to go.
Pine Tavern’s happy hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday. Assistant manager Betsy Evans attributes the win to “good drinks, good service and quite a variety of happy hour items.”
The happy hour dishes range from $2.95 to $4.95 and include finger foods such as pork pot stickers, clam strips and potato skins, as well as the popular bar favorites of blackened fish tacos and spinach and artichoke dip. If you’re looking for something more filling, you can’t wrong with the half pound tavern burger or Sriracha chicken bites.
There’s also drink specials — well drinks are $4.50, Pabst Blue Ribbons are $2.50, seasonal drafts are $4.50 and a glass of the happy hour red or white wine is $4.50. It would be easy for someone to leave feeling happy and full, while having only spent $10 on food and drinks.
While the food is delicious, the friendly and easy going atmosphere should not be overlooked. Check out the entire happy hour menu at pinetavern.com.
