Crater Lake National Park’s North Entrance Road, as well as East Rim and West Rim drives, are set to close Sunday for the season.

Officials plan to shut the gates at 5 p.m. Sunday, the park announced today. The North Entrance Road connects the park with state Highway 138. Visitors must access the park from the south or west, using state Highway 62, during the closure.

The roads are set to reopen in the spring or early summer, with the exact opening date depending on snow depths.
