Roger lost his life to cancer on October 19, 2008.

He was born in LaSalle, IL and moved to Bend in 1941. He worked for Willamette Industries for 31 years. Roger served fouryears in the US Navy during the Korean War.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on old cars.

He is survived by his loving wife, Edith, of 36 years. Between them they have eight children: Terry Roebuck, of Bend; Lynne Liskh, of Newport, OR; Marty Roebuck, of Las Vegas, NV; Emery Roebuck, of Phoenix, AZ; Duane and Fred Zitek, of Salem, OR; Cindy Williams and Teresa Zitek, of Bend. A sister, Nancy Miller, of Soldotna, Alaska. 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a great- grandson, Andrew.

Graveside services will be Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Deschutes Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Family and Friends are WELCOME. A potluck will follow at the Roebuck residence.
