Esther F. Williams, 84, died Thursday, March 19, in her home in Bend. Mrs. Williams was born on December 11, 1924 in Alexandria, Virginia. She was the youngest of eight children. Mrs. Williams graduated from high school in 1944 after which she worked as a Program Analyst with the Defense Logistics Agency in Alexandria. In 1945, she married Paul S. Williams of Wytheville, Virginia. They lived in Virginia until 1989 when they relocated to Camden, South Carolina. Mr. Williams died in 1999, and Mrs. Williams moved back to Virginia in 2005, and then to Bend in 2007.

Esther is survived by her two sons, Paul S. Williams, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, and Bruce L. Williams of Bend, Oregon; and also four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Williams at Desert Streams Church on 27th St. in Bend, Wednesday, March 25 at 7:00 PM.
