Children take a ride on the new slides at Hope Playground during its grand opening at Sam Johnson Park in Redmond on Thursday. The playground, which cost more than $1 million to build, is made to be accessible to children and adults of all physical abilities. The play area includes slides, zip lines and a custom-made climbing wall.
