Kirk and Sherri Bashore, of Bend, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 15 by renewing their vows on the cliffs at Dana Point, California, with their children and grandchildren. A reception followed.

The couple were married Nov. 15, 1965, in Hollywood, California. They have two children, Todd (and Jeanine) of Newport Beach, California, and Kristin (and Jason) Allemann, of Dana Point, California; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Bashore was a banker and president of Huntington National Bank. He retired in 1996. He is a member of the Broken Top Golf Club and an avid skier. He volunteers in general services for St. Charles Bend.

Mrs. Bashore was a teacher and real estate agent. She retired in 1996. She is a member of the Broken Top Golf Club and is past president of the Women’s Golf Association of Broken Top Club. She is an acrylic artist and a member of the Sagebrushers Art Society. She is a volunteer pianist in the lobby of St. Charles Bend, and her paintings are displayed in the Hall of the Heart wing at St. Charles Bend.

They have lived in Bend for 19 years.
