Solo Speak Sessions returns this weekend with the first of what will be its last few storytelling events in Bend. Owner Shay Knorr plans to move back to Portland this spring, so don’t miss this chance to hear her along with seasoned storytellers Mike Ficher, Kimberley King, Emilie Cortes, Diane Allen and Pat Kruise Tellinghusen.

The six plan to “spill their guts about the ups and downs of life and finding your own voice,” as Knorr puts in a press release for Second Saturday Story Salon, being held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Armature, 50 SE Scott St., Suite 1, in the Old Ironworks Arts District.

Tickets are $15 in advance online; $18 at the door.

The next event, on Feb. 13, features Knorr along with Beverly Allen, Chris Farley, Maisie Smith and Clinton Clark. The final one will take place March 12 with Knorr and Gail Menasco doing one-hour versions of their respective one-woman shows.
