Small bite

New downtown — J DUB is the newest casual restaurant to open in downtown Bend. Stepping into the space that was most recently Soba Food of Asia (formerly the Bond Street Grill and Giuseppe’s), it opened Monday with a menu of sandwiches and comfort food priced $7 to $14. Owner Jon Weber, previously the bar manager at 10 Barrel Brewing, hopes to attract families and downtown business people to the street-side café, and an evening bar crowd to the rear lounge.
