South-side pasta — The Pasta House Bar and Grill opened May 3 in the Bend Factory Stores on South Third Street. Filling the former location of Si Señor, the restaurant offers salads, pasta and sandwiches, including an authentic New Orleans-style muffuletta. Give a hoot — The Brown Owl was scheduled to open this week (May 9) in the Box Factory, formerly the Old Mill Marketplace, according to owner-chef Lisandro Ramos. Dine with a view — The Riverhouse on the Deschutes has opened its renamed restaurant, Currents, after a major renovation.
