Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., December 30, 2017, at Nativity Lutheran Church, 60850 Brosterhous Rd., Bend, Oregon 97702.

Dorothy is survived by son, Jack Saarinen and daughter-in-law, Sheri Saarinen; daughter, Karen Elliott and son-in-law, Jock Elliott of Redmond; grandsons, Tyler Saarinen of Bend; Jesse Elliott of Cleveland, Tennessee; Seth Elliott and wife, Amanda Elliott of Bend; and Zachary Elliott and wife, Cammie Elliott of Tampa, Florida; greatgrandchildren, Grace, Ava, Michael, Lilly, Bella, Holland, Olivia, and Jude Elliott; husband, Robert Saarinen; and two other children, Bob Saarinen of Powell Butte; and Cheryl Saarinen of West Linn, Oregon, preceeded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Services of Bend, Visiting Angels, or Hospice of Bend.
