The Central Oregon cocktail scene has grown greatly in recent years. So this year’s competition for Where to GO! for a specialty cocktail was stiff. When all was said and done, The Dogwood Cocktail Cabin was the readers’ top pick.
“Often times the individual details go unnoticed, but it’s their totality — it’s what makes our product unique and special,” owner Phoebe Pedersen said to The Bulletin in a 2017 interview.
The eclectic, lounge-style bar has more than 35 cocktails on the menu made with a gin, vodka, rum, whiskey or tequila base.
There’s a drink to match every mood, whether you’re looking for something spicy, sweet, subtle or exotic. Bartenders at the restaurant use fresh herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables to enhance the flavor and appearance of the drinks. And customers appreciate the humorous cocktail names like Sexy Thyme and Rye An’ Gosling.
