The Bend Fall Festival has some strong headliners this year, but the local talent keeps these events in business. With that in mind, check out your musical neighbors:

• The Roof Rabbits, 9 p.m. Friday on the Locals Only Stage: Bend’s punky yet melodic “supergroup” of sorts, featuring members of Harley Bourbon, Tuck and Roll and Boxcar Stringband, expanded to a four-piece earlier this year with the addition of bassist Tyler Parsons. Then Parsons moved to Seattle. Once again a lean, mean power trio, the group is looking at options to release its completed debut album, “Creature Comforts” (a couple of singles have been released at theroofrabbits.bandcamp.com).

• Second Son & The Rain Dogs, 1 p.m. Saturday on the Main Stage: The country/folk group — AKA the recording and performing moniker for singer-songwriter Micah Peterson — has kept a relatively low profile since releasing “The Heat of Devils” in 2016. Peterson teased a six-song EP via email: “I’ll tell you what I tell everyone else, and that is, we’ll put it out at some point in time.”

• Riderbymyside, 8:30 p.m. Saturday on the Locals Only Stage: The family band, led by 14-year-old songwriter and fiddler Ella Rider and featuring her parents Gregg and Kristin Morris, is finishing up its debut album (Gregg Morris said via email that the recording will be “(finished) before the first snow sticks to the ground”). For this performance, the group will feature guitarist Travis Ehrenstrom and drummer Kyle Pickard of the Travis Ehrenstrom Band, which Gregg also plays in, along with Shady GroOove’s Mike Beaulieu on stand-up bass.
