Concert offerings seem a bit slim this weekend, thanks to New Year’s Eve dominating the live-music landscape earlier this week. But again, even the slow season in Bend isn’t so slow if you know where to look. Downtown may be your best bet Friday, which just so happens to be the night of January’s First Friday Gallery Walk, and live music is a part of that as always. Highlights include the acoustic duo One Two Many (that’s Travis Ehrenstrom of the Travis Ehrenstrom Band and Mike Beaulieu of Shady GroOove) at Crow’s Feet Commons; acoustic-roots group Appaloosa at North Soles Footwear; singer-songwriter Daniel Cioper at Bend Brewing Co.; and Americana/bluegrass band Larkspur Stand at Crater Lake Spirits Tasting Room. Or head downtown, pop your head into any open business (or stand at any street corner) and listen — chances are, you’ll land on something good.
