Mosaic Medical is relocating its Redmond clinic to a new space on the first floor of an affordable housing complex that will double its patient care area.
Expected to open Sept. 12, the new clinic will be housed on the first floor of Cook Crossing, a 48-unit apartment complex for low- and moderate-income seniors. It will have twice as many exam rooms as the current clinic and three separate areas for dental procedures. The clinic will offer pharmacy, behavioral health, oral health, nutrition and health education.
The clinic will serve Cook Crossing residents and community members alike, although the close proximity to the clinic will provide Cook Crossing residents with easy access to health care. Mosaic said the new location, on Veterans Way immediately west of Lowe’s Home Improvement, is closer to schools, social service agencies and the transit hub than its current location near St. Charles Redmond.
Mosaic received grants to assist in the relocation from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, the Ford Family Foundation and the Collins Foundation. Additional grants from the Oregon Community Foundation, the Roadhouse Foundation and the Curran Family Fund will go toward adding dental services.
