Midday dining — Chef Gene Soto’s catering company has expanded to add lunchtime dining on Bend’s south side. Partner Sanda Costello, formerly of Brother Jon’s Alehouse, has joined Soto, previously of Supervillain Sandwiches, at the Bowtie Cafe and Catering, located near Shari’s Restaurant. The menu, priced $4 to $10, includes three salads, seven sandwiches, tacos and pasta plates. Open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. 61147 S.
