Axel returns — Veteran restaurateur Axel Hoch is coming out of retirement. His new project, Alexander’s Dining Room & Lounge, is expected to open in Redmond sometime in July, in the former Mrs. Beasley’s space, according to the manager of the adjacent Redmond Inn Motel. Hoch, 73, has previously operated such restaurants as the Black Forest Inn, Le Bistro, Barney Prine’s Steakhouse and the River Mill Grill. 1555 S. Highway 97, Redmond.
