A local car wash is donating use of its facilities for area fundraising events.

Bend Car Wash, 225 NE Quimby Ave., recently initiated this community service program, aimed at helping high school students.

So far schools have drummed up cash for softball team uniforms and archery team travel costs.

Bend Car Wash provides all training, car wash and vacuum resources at no cost to the fundraisers.

Local fundraising teams must range from 4 to 20 members — not including an adult supervisor — and commit to three hours at the facility.
